The circular cash register counter is positioned in a central location in every store, giving team members a chance to engage with all our guests and helping us make genuine connections with everyone.
With his hat of swirly frozen yogurt, Menchie and his Sweet Friends are just as famous as the yogurt. The Sweet Friends adorn everything from collectible plastic spoons that we give to kids on every visit (so they can collect them all) to toys, watches, hoodies and loads of other fun merchandise. The Sweet Friends become a wonderful part of the Menchie’s experience, and they’re so adorable that children easily bond with them.
It’s understandable why someone might want to copy these ideas, but we won’t let that happen. The Menchie’s experience is about more than frozen yogurt; it’s about smiles.
“We consider ourselves the ambassadors of frozen yogurt, spreading smiles around the world,” says CEO Amit Kleinberger. “A smile can’t be trademarked, of course. But we can trademark some of the many ways Menchie’s makes our guests smile. This is just another layer of protection we offer to our franchisees to help ensure every chance of success.”
