The nation’s No. 1 frozen yogurt franchise wants its franchisees to feel as welcome as its guests

If we want you to remember anything about Menchie’s, it’s this: We make you smile.

That was our mission when we started franchising in 2008, and it’s still our mission today. We care about our guests, and we want their every Menchie’s experience to be a happy one. The best way to do that? We make sure our franchisees are happy, too.

Imagine going to a place like Menchie’s, with its signature happy pink-and-green color scheme, its delicious frozen yogurt and the wonderful DIY toppings, and then running into a franchise owner who wasn’t happy. Someone who didn’t greet every guest with a smile. That could never happen. And if it did, we wouldn’t be the best frozen yogurt franchise in the country for long.

Two things are essential to our success:

Franchisees have to make money. They need to generate good profit margins and recoup their investments reasonably quickly. Our team of experts at Menchie’s has a proven support system to help our franchisees reach that goal.

Franchisees have to be happy. They have to enjoy what they do day in and day out. It’s what we call the “why.” Why do you want to own a Menchie’s? To make people smile. Talk to our owners, and you’ll see they are passionate about making people smile. They love seeing their guests smiling more when they leave than they were when they came in.

If it weren’t for our great and growing team franchise owners, we wouldn’t have grown the way we have in the past five years. We expect to have 500 stores open by the end of 2013. We want our franchisees to know as much as they can about our company before they join the Menchie’s team. And Menchie’s wants to know about our franchisees, too. We want to make sure it’s a match made in heaven.
